Sixth season premiere ratings

Last night's sixth season premiere of The Middle, which began the Year of Sue and saw her finally get her braces off, finished second in the key 18-49 demo and third overall in the ratings for its time period.

"Unbraceable You" was watched by 7.59 million people, down from last season's premiere audience of 8.94m people. The show had a 2.2/8 rating in the 18-49 demo, down three tenths from the previous season premiere's 2.5/8.
