The Middle has been nominated for Most Underrated Show in TV.com's Best of 2011. The category celebrates the TV shows that don't always get the audience appreciation or critical respect they deserve.

The other contenders for the award are SyFy's Alphas, NBC's Community, MTV's Awkward, NBC's Parenthood and FX's The League.
