Last night's episode of The Middle finished a solid third behind a duo of competing reality shows. Fox's American Idol and CBS's Survivor: Redemption Island pushed ABC's Wednesday night sitcom block into third place.
"Friends, Lies and Videotape" was watched by 7.96 million people and scored a 4.8/8 rating in households. The show achieved a 2.3/7 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic. The Middle finished third by all key metrics.
