Episode 5.11 Ratings

Last night's The Middle finished a solid second in the ratings, behind the season premiere of American Idol - which, though no longer the juggernaut it once was, still dominated the night's ratings.

Yesterday's episode, "War of the Hecks", was watched by 7.51 million people, slipping by 1.31m from last week's Idol-less broadcast. The Middle had a 1.8/6 rating in the key adults 18-49 demo, down four natches from the previous episode. The Middle finished second in the ratings by all key measurements.
