This week's episode "Winners and Losers" had an audience of 8.27 million people, adding 550,000 people from last week. The Middle recorded a 2.3/7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, up from 1.9/6 last week. The Middle finished third, behind Fox's American Idol and CBS's Survivor, in all key ratings metrics.
