Last night's episode of The Middle finished a solid third in the ratings in its time slot, despite falls in the ratings from last week.

"Twenty Years" received an audience of 7.29 million people, down by 690,000 people from last week's episode. In the adults 18-49 demographic, The Middle fell two notches to a 2.3/7 rating. The Middle ranked third in the ratings by all key metrics.
