Yesterday's Halloween-themed episode of The Middle ranked third in the ratings and posted slight gains over last week's episode.

"Halloween III: The Driving" was watched by 8.80 million people, adding 401,000 people from last week. In the adults 18-49 demographic, The Middle scored a 2.6/8 rating, up a notch from 2.5/8 on October 17. The Middle finished third in the ratings, behind the World Series on Fox and Survivor on CBS, in all key ratings.
