Fourth Season Premiere Ratings Posted September 27 2012
Yesterday's hour-long fourth season premiere of The Middle finished third in the ratings and was down a few notches on last year's season opener.
"Last Whiff of Summer" was watched by 8.97 million people, down by 770,000 people on the third season premiere. In the adults 18-49 demographic, The Middle scored a 2.8/9 rating, down from 3.1/9 last year. The Middle ranked third in the ratings by all key indicators.
