ABC Family buys The Middle for syndication

ABC Family has acquired the cable syndication rights to The Middle, it was announced today. The family-oriented network will start broadcasting repeats of the show in the fall of 2013.

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution has also cleared the show in broadcast syndication on stations reaching 92% of US TV homes. Station groups including including Tribune, Sinclair, CBS Communications Corp., Raycom and Belo will begin airing the show in fall 2013.
