Patricia Heaton to get star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Patricia Heaton is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced late Tuesday. Other honorees named by the Holywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee include Friends star Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Winslet.

Patricia Heaton is being honoured for her work on television. Heaton, who currently stars as Frankie Heck in The Middle, is most widely known for her nine year stint as Debra Barone on the popular CBS family sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. Raymond co-star Doris Roberts, who has appeared in three episodes of The Middle, received a star for her TV work in 2003.

The date of the ceremonies have not yet been announced but will take place in the next year.
