Yesterday's Halloween-themed episode of The Middle finished a solid third in the ratings for its time slot.
"Halloween IV: The Ghost Story" had an audience of 8.03 million people, dropping slightly from last week's 8.31m. In the adults 18-49 demographic, The Middle scored a 2.2/7 rating, unchanged from last week. The Middle only narrowly finished behind second-place Survivor, which scored a 2.3/7 rating, in the demo. The Middle ranked third in the ratings for its time slot by all key metrics.
