Brick Heck

Brick Heck is the quirky youngest child of the Heck family. Brick's strangest behaviour is quite possibly whispering words back to himself, although having a backpack as a best friend is a close runner-up [runner-up].

Despite Brick's great interest in books, at school he is not exactly a high-achiever [high-achiever]. He is so easily distracted that most of his homework and school projects are left until days before they are due, when he springs them on Frankie.

Brick's social skills - backpacks excepted - are not particularly good. He does not have much interest in listening to other people and will usually just walk away when he has lost interest [interest]. Frankie blames this characteristic on the similarly unsociable Mike, but with so many strange Brick-isms it is hard to pin the blame on anybody.
